I liked how you started out with Sesshoumaru's observation of her, that kind of became his new "hobby". His confusion as to why he can't figure her out was entertaining. As well as to why she seems to be treating everyone the same. You did well with the transition here, using the kids like that!!! Love is all Sesshoumaru needs to understand to be able to figure her out. Love is the reason she treats everyone the same. Nicely done, Gos!

I just love how Kagome can have an in depth conversation with the children! And at the same time her teachings affect Sesshoumaru as well. It was really nice to read Sesshoumaru's thoughts when he was processing everything he heard. The reader could be part of his "character growth" and that was refresing. I was smiling when he realized that he felt the same with Rin. :)

Love can be a weakness as well as a source of strenght, you portrayed that very well here Gos!

God, I love your eavesdropping, introspective Sesshoumaru! This was a fascinating take on his thought process, and I really liked how a conversation with the children was used to not only stimulate his questions but bring him around to realize that he loves too. Very nice and sweet piece that I enjoyed immensely! ??
