so they met as kids and he forgot about her after the year went by? When they got to know each other again he used her as a side chick?! Sesshoumaru’s a dick here.. pls continue the story!!! 

Never could I have anticipated this story line when I read the summary,  but could I have?! I am beyond excited to read something so different, I'm literally reading all of this with a pain in my chest because I feel so many different ways about Sesshomaru right now, lol.

     This is such a fantastic story - I really feel the range of emotions from the Inu gang. Sango's frustration and relief, Kaede's wary optimism, Kagome's determination to move on. While I feel badly for Sesshomaru, I can't help but feel like he's just traded one dream woman for another. From the hints you gave about their year together, it seemed like he was always longing for another woman (Rin? A yet unseen Kagura?) although Kagome was by his side. It is odd that despite telling Kagome he chose Rin to be his girlfriend, he just drops her like hot potato when Kagome leaves. Where does this leave Rin?! It sounds like a case of an immature person always chasing what they can't have and isn't fair to either leg of the love triangle (Kagome and Rin). Granted he's only 22 years old, but you'd think an M.D. would have a little more emotional maturity than Sesshomaru at this point. 

      In any case, it's probably for the best that Kagome removed herself from the situation and is working to make her life fuller with people who truly love her. I love this strong Kagome! She did the whole trying to mould herself into someone's dream girl, fail, and mope thing - it's not her! She's getting on with her life, and making mature decisions about toxic people. It's truly great to read about a character who's like this. Thank you so much for writing the story! I can't wait to see where it goes! :)

Sesshomaru has been such an ass. But isn't this so realistic? People want to keep you because you're safe, your comfortable. They keep you hanging but would never commit... But they'll drop you instantly once they find someone they think is "better". They don't really see what's shoved right in front of their faces.

As much i love my SessKag, unless he changes, I won't root for him. Haha. Maybe it would take him seeing another guy appreciating Kagome before he realizes everything he did wrong.

Can’t wait to read more!!! I feel really sad for Kagome... waiting for so long only to never get a chance with crush... they always say you never know what you have until it’s gone. 

So instead of going to bed I sit rereading this amazing thing a few times.

A little confused about the time line. You say the autumn just started no and it was her birthday then the journey to Yukon where he promised to go when they were little . Them he said he forgot.  So November is at the end of autumn so I am confused what month it is then? When was her birthday then? Sorry maybe the lack of sleep and my tiredness is at fault for not understanding...
