A fire beat against the confines of its grate, leaving shadows to dance  eagerly along the walls. Iridescent amber  eyes burned from the depths of them, lending animalistic quality to the figure that sat resplendent on a finely crafted throne.  "I will take your daughter into my household as my attendant. I will find her a comfortable marriage. I will even watch over her children when her life has ended." She paused, a satisfied smile curling the corners of her lips . "In return you will gain  nothing."
