Must read warning: This story will contain a yaoi couple. For those of you who don't know what that means, it means male/male couple/s. There will be only one in this story, so if you are uncomfortable with that, you either skip those parts or don't read my story at all. Plus there will be no lemons. This is my very first fic, but I can promise you limes, and at times it might be a little heavy but nothing very serious.

Us and Our Problems: ch.1

Kagome sighed as she sat in the back of the class staring out the window. It was the last class of the day, math, her most hated subject and it seemed liked an eternity had to pass before the bell would ring. And the teacher wasn't helping either by dragging on and on about some project that they would be starting today over some dead, 'famous', mathematician. Kagome could have cared less.

Kagome was only a sophomore at Tokyo High. So was her best friend, Inuyasha. Inuyasha was everything a brother could be to her. Even if he could be such a big jerk sometimes, but she loved him still. He was what got her through the school day, if it wasn't for the fact that they shared almost every single class, she was sure she would have gone insane by now.

Even though she was top of the class in just about every thing except math. How she hated math. She just knew the teacher hated her for some reason she couldn't think of and conspired against her, because no matter how hard she tried she just couldn't get passed a C+.

While Kagome was lost in her thought, she failed to notice the last bell ring. And from doing so earned her a bop upside her head from her best friend. " Owe Inu, what you do that for?" she asked as she rubbed her head.

"You were off in la la land some where when we could be walking over to my house to start on this dumb project." He said irritated. " All right, I'm coming, I'm coming" Kagome grumbled as she gathered her things.

As Kagome and Inuyasha was walking through the school's courtyard, someone yelled for them to wait up. Both Kagome and Inuyasha turned to see who it was and saw Miroku run to catch up with them.

While they were waiting for Miroku to catch up, Kagome noticed a slight clouded look cross Inuyasha's eye's he watched Miroku. ' Strange', Kagome thought, ' I wonder why he's looking at Miroku like that.'

Finally when Miroku caught up with them he was slightly panting." Hey, what's up?" he asked between breaths. Inuyasha shook his head from what ever daze he was in, "Took you long enough, now what do you want?"

"I wanted to know if the three of us could do the project together?" He asked once he finally caught his breath. " Sure!" Kagome answered happily," Any extra help I can get, it's fine with me!'' Kagome turn to Inuyasha for his answer, along with Miroku. " Fine", Inuyasha started as he turned to walk again, " just hurry up, I wanna get this done with as soon as possible."
