Chapter One: The Beginning of the End

Something was smothering her.

Groggy eyes opened to reveal stormy blue. Removing the comforter and pillow covering her head, she slowly sat up and yawned. Stretching not unlike a cat, she stood and scratched her belly, walking towards the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. Grabbing a towel and quick change of clothes from her room on the way to the bathroom, she waited on the coffee by taking a nice warm shower. Jumping out and throwing on a pair of jeans and a blue top, she walked back into the kitchen for her cup of coffee.

A ringing sound interrupted her nice quiet morning. Startled out of her seat, she quickly grabbed up her phone.

"Moshi moshi, Kagome desu!"

"Kagome," a familiar voice said on the other side, "I have great news. I'm throwing a party at Inu's house tonight! A pool party! I want you to come. Everybody's going to be there."

"Mou, Kikyo, why are you throwing a party at Inuyasha's house? If you're throwing it, shouldn't it be at your place?" Kagome was slightly puzzled at this point.

"Well, Inu's place is bigger, and it was his idea to begin with. I'm just taking care of all the details." Kagome could just imagine her friend's hand waving daintily through the air as she said this.

"So what's the special occasion? Did something good happen, or are you just wanting an excuse to ogle a bunch of hot guys half-naked?" Kagome smiled as Kikyo sputtered to her teasing remark. "Inuyasha might get jealous if he catches you. So who's going?"

"Ooooooo, you! I'll get you for that. Anyway, Inu and I will be here, of course. Rin and Sango have agreed to make it, as well as Shippo, Miroku, Naraku and Kagura. A few other people might be there, and Sesshoumaru might even come out and enjoy a little bit. It's not going to be very big, but we're still going to have a blast. You have to show up. You're the only one left on my call list."

Kagome pursed her lips together, thinking of her schedule later tonight.

"I don't have anything planned that I can think of, but if something comes up, I'll let you know. But count on me to be there."

Pulling the phone away from her ear at the excited squeal coming from the phone, she grinned. Once the loud shrieking was done, she asked the time and place and hung up. Since she was off for the next three days, she decided she would go out shopping for a new bathing suit.

Dialing a new number, she quickly got a hold of Sango and Rin and asked if they wanted to help her. Getting agreement from both of them, she grabbed her purse and keys, and headed for the mall they were going to meet at.

The mall was crowded. Kagome gaped when she had finally met with Sango and Rin and entered the mall. It was packed from end to end.

"Oh my goddess! What the hell?!" Sango looked around for any shop close the entrance that would sell swimwear. "I can't even see the names of the stores, it's so packed!"

Looking at each other, Rin and Kagome agreed. "Why don't we just try a smaller place than the mall? Like a Target© or something. I don't think we'll get anywhere in there."

Sighing, Sango nodded, and they decided to meet at the strip mall down the street.

Kagome glanced around the empty parking lot, raising an eyebrow to the other two. "I don't know, and I don't care. There's no one here, so let's make the best of it!"

They walked towards a cute little boutique. As they entered, they headed to the rear of the store where they could see the swimwear.

Rin held up a cute little two-piece in a light blue. The top was a halter, with a big silver buckle in the middle. The bottoms were regular bikini bottoms with a silver buckle on each side. "I like this one."

Sango and Kagome giggled at her statement, though they agreed that it would look good on her.

Sango found a dark pink number that fit her like a glove. A tank-like top and boy-short bottoms made the suit look great on her.

Kagome had found a deep red two-piece with little white sakura on it. The top was also a halter style, except it wrapped around to her stomach and tied off mid-back. The bottoms tied off on her right hip, but wrapped around her waist first.

Deciding that they each liked each others outfits, they bought them and left to prepare for later that night.

Pulling up into Inuyasha's drive, Kagome parked next to Sango's little Civic. Grabbing her overnight bag from the passenger seat, she headed to the front door. As she was the last one to show up, she was sure; she just let herself in and locked the door behind her.

Heading upstairs to drop her bag off, she quickly changed into her swimsuit and threw a blood red tank and black board shorts over it. Leaving her stuff in the guest room she usually stayed in when she came over, she headed back downstairs and to the pool in the backyard.

Stopping in the doorway, she watched as they all laughed and had a good time in the pool, splashing around and having a generally good time. Sesshoumaru was laying on one side of the pool, watching the festivities. Kikyo was lounging in a chair on the opposite side, trying to soak up the last few hours of the suns rays in a beautiful pink and white bikini.

Kagura was lying next to her in an emerald green string bikini, watching the pool goers having a water fight.

The guys were chasing the girls in the pool, a weird game of tickle going on. Inuyasha and Naraku both nodded to Kikyo and Kagura, and quietly got out of the pool, stalking towards them. Before the girls could call out a warning, Shippo and Miroku dunked the girls. Naraku and Inuyasha both picked up their respective girlfriends and tossed them in the water. Squeals of indignation could be heard from both girls before they hit the water, and then came up sputtering.

Kagome couldn't help it at that point. She busted up, laughing so hard that she couldn't stay standing. Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to her when they heard her laughter.

"Oh my goddess, that was so funny! Th-the look on Kikyo and Kagura's faces wh-when they were tossed in w-was priceless! I wish I had a camera!"

"Kagome, you made it!" a breathless Rin said, climbing out to greet her. "I didn't think you were going to make it. You're so late!"

"I'm sorry," Kagome replied. "My mother called and asked me to do a last minute errand for her before I disappeared for a few days up here in the wilderness of Inuyasha's...estate...so I agreed. I didn't think it would take so long though."

"I'm just glad you made it." Kagura replied. Stone boy over there has been nothing but mud since we got here. I thought you finally got him to loosen up some."

Sesshoumaru growled at the stone boy comment, but pushed it off for later. "I'll get you for that later, Kagura. Kagome, I'm glad you could make it."

Kagome smiled at him. Walking over and giving him a hug, she looked at everyone else. "So, what's on the agenda for tonight?"

Inuyasha flicked an ear and shrugged. "Whatever you want. No big plans. We just wanted to have some fun."

"Speaking of fun," Miroku replied as everyone else gathered round. "Kagome is still dressed and dry. I sense something wrong with that!"

Kagome's eyes widened as she backed up quickly. "Now wait a minute, I just got here. No need to be hasty!"

Inuyasha smirked at the other guys, then dove in. Grabbing the bottom of her shirt, Sesshoumaru grabbed her by the waist to keep her stationary as Inuyasha pulled the shirt off. Miroku had grabbed onto her board shorts and yanked them off when Sesshoumaru lifted her off the ground. Now only clad in her suit, she was tossed unceremoniously into the pool.

"That was totally not cool!" she yelled as she came up for air. "I wanted to stay dry for a little bit longer."

Jumping in net to her, Sango grinned. "Aw, it's not so bad. I'm here with you. We can be wet together."

Kagome quirked an eyebrow as Miroku's eyes glazed over. "That came out so wrong, yet I can't help but appreciate the thought." He grinned in bliss.

Sango scrunched her nose. "That's just sick. Someone hit him for me."

Naraku smirked and smacked him upside the head.

Laughing, Kagome and Sango dunked back under the water, swimming towards the far side if the pool to get away from everyone. Following their lead, everyone else jumped back in.

A few hours and several games of Marco Polo later, everyone climbed out to eat dinner. Since the kitchen staff inside the house finished the cooking as they were drying off, food was ready as soon as they sat down.

Seated at a long table next to the pool, everyone dug in excitedly.

"You know Kikyo," Kagome stated, "I never figured you for hamburgers or hotdogs. I was seriously thinking we were gonna have chicken parmesan, or filet mignon. You know, something higher class."

Everyone nodded agreement.

"I'm not saying it's bad." Kagura offered. "We just didn't think you ate stuff like this. You know, with all the fancy eating you do. It's just new to us."

Kagome nodded along with everyone else. Looking around the table, she grinned at Sesshoumaru eating a burger. "I didn't think you ate this stuff either, Sesshoumaru."

Sesshoumaru glanced at her over his burger. Raising an eyebrow, he finished chewing.

"This Sesshoumaru enjoys burgers. That is all you need to know."

Giggling, Kagome just nodded and finished her burger. After everyone had finished eating, the first round of drinks was passed around. Gathering everyone together, Kikyo then announced the first order of business for the night.

"It is time for the drinking games. We need to be plastered for the last game of the night. I vote 'I Never' as the first." Getting nods of agreement, she passed a shot glass to everyone, then the bottle of Ciclon©. "Anyone who has a positive response to anything anyone says, you must take a shot. If the response is negative, you're safe for another round. Let's start off with Inn."

Inuyasha placed a thoughtful look on his face, before grinning wickedly. "I never went down on a guy."

Nervous glances around the table, then Kikyo, Kagura, Sango and Miroku all threw down a shot. Eyebrows raised all around the table.

Miroku turned red and sputtered out an answer. "It was a dare, I was drunk, and it was about six years ago! No more!"

"Shippo's next!"

Scrunching his eyebrows together in thought, Shippo smiled. "I never kissed a guy."

Kagura, Kikyo, Kagome, Rin, Sango, Miroku and Naraku all downed shots. Sending a glance to the two boys, Kikyo replied with an 'I don't want to know' look. "Next in line is Rin."

Rin giggled and shot out "I never groped a person against their will."

Miroku groaned. "Are you all out to get me?"

Downing his shot, Miroku glanced at the rest of the group. Inuyasha, Naraku, Sango and Shippo all downed a shot.

"SANGO!" Kagome looked surprised, then grinned. "The monk is wearing off on you, I see."

Sango had the guilty pleasure of blushing at Kagome's comment.

Sesshoumaru cleared his throat. "I believe I'm up. I never slept with a male."

Kikyo, Kagura and Sango all downed their shots, then blinked in surprise at Kagome and Rin. They glanced at each other, and wicked grins spread on all their faces. "Okay."

Kagome lifted her glass in a salute. "I never kissed a girl."

Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Naraku, Miroku, Shippo, and Kagura downed it. Seeing all the glances shooting her way, she shrugged. "It was my experimental stage," was all she said.

"I never made out with more than one person at a time." Sango's voice rang out above the others.

Miroku, Kagura and Naraku sunk another one.

Miroku grinned at all the ladies. "I never regretted eating out."

It took a moment for that comment to actually register, before all the guys downed it. Miroku tried to dodge all the condiments flying his way. The entire party groaned into their hands. As one, they looked to Naraku.

Raising an eyebrow, he gave his ultimatum. "I never participated in bondage." He then proceeded to down his own shot. Miroku, Sango, Kagura, Kikyo and Inuyasha all downed it.

Giggling, Kagura stated "I never fantasized about the same sex."

Kikyo downed her shot, as did Miroku and Sango.

"The end of the game is near." Kikyo raised her glass. "I never participated in an orgy."

Miroku, Naraku, Kagura and Inuyasha all downed it.

"I now declare this game over." Shuffling around the table, she quickly refilled any empty shot glasses. "Now it's time for Truth or Dare! Seeing as some of you look quite reluctant to play," pointed glance at Shippo, Rin and Kagome, "I'll explain the rules. If any of you decide to chicken, three shots. A half-hearted attempt at a dare is an extra shot. Refusal to participate means a member of the opposite sex can do what they want to you, within reason, by choice of jan-ken-pon. All players must go at least once before getting a second round. Every dare is followed by one shot. Every truth is followed by two shots. Any questions?" Looking around, Kikyo noticed the lack of hands. "Good. Let's begin. Kagura, you're first."

Kagura grinned evilly and looked towards Sango. "Truth or dare, Sango?"

Sango smiled. "Dare."

Kagura's grin widened. "I dare you to strip to just your bottoms for the first round."

Sango's eyes widened before she slowly slipped out of her bathing suit top. Covering her breasts with her crossed arms, she took her shot and glared at Miroku. "Don't even think about it!"

Glancing around, she stopped at Inuyasha. "Truth or dare?"

Inuyasha quickly replied with a "DARE" before anyone could even glance his way.

"I dare you to let every girl here rub your ears."

Inuyasha's ears flattened as every girl squealed in delight. Downing his shot, he replied. "Fine."

After every girl got a good feel of his hearing extremities, Inuyasha turned to Shippo. "You know the question."

"Truth," Shippo replied.

"Have you ever passionately kissed Rin?"

Turning an even brighter red than Sango did, he nodded. Quickly changing the subject amidst more squealing females, he turned to Naraku after his shots.

"Truth or dare?"

"Dare," came the smooth reply.

"I dare you to keep Kagura on you lap for the rest of the game, unless it interferes with other dares."

Smirking, Naraku grabbed Kagura around the waist and dragged her onto his lap. He looked across to Sesshoumaru when Kagura finished situating herself and downing his shot. "Truth of dare, big dog?"

Growling at the 'big dog' reference, he replied with dare.

"I dare you to pull Kagome into your lap and grab her breasts until the end of the game, unless interfering with a dare."

Blushing madly, Kagome squeaked as Sesshoumaru pulled her onto his lap and then grabbed on to her chest after his shot. She squirmed a bit, then tried to relax in his surprisingly gentle hold.

"Kikyo, truth or dare?" Sesshoumaru asked, looking her way.

"Truth."

"When will you tell the hanyou?"

Blushing even darker than Kagome, she shot down her two, then replied with a "soon".

"Rin," Kikyo replied when she calmed down, "truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Who would like to be your first time?"

Red as a tomato, Rin replied faintly, "Rin would like it to be Shippo."

As she took her shots, she noticed Shippo was as red as she felt.

Glancing to Miroku, she asked him.

"Dare."

Looking a little lost, Kagome leaned over a little and whispered in her ear.

Rin nodded happily. "I dare you to sing and dance to I'm a little teapot."

Grinning, he stood. "I'm a little teapot, short and stout." He squatted a little, then placed a hand on his hip. "Here is my handle," and placing his other hand on the other hip, "and here is my other...handle...?" Looking around, he put a surprised look on his face. "Oh shit! I'm a sugar bowl!"

Everyone burst out laughing. "Oh my Goddess!" exclaimed Sango, trying to catch her breath. "That was priceless!"

Miroku sat back down and took his shot, looking at Kagome. "Truth or dare?"

Kagome looked torn. "I don't know which is worse, coming from you." In deep thought, she finally replied with a dare.

Perverted grin firmly placed on his face, Miroku called out in a singsong voice "I dare you to remove your top from under Sesshoumaru's claws."

Blushing even worse now, she untied the knot at her back, and slid the top from under Sesshoumaru's hands, who had slightly lifted them so the top wouldn't be cut.

Taking a shot and clearing her throat uncomfortably, she looked at Kagura. "Truth or dare?"

"Dare." Kagura replied confidently, taking her shot now.

"Ok. I dare you to make out with Naraku for the next two minutes."

Kagura turned around on Naraku's lap and proceeded to suck the air out of his lungs, all the while letting her hands wander for the nest two minutes.

"Alrighty then, everyone is free game now!" Kagura let everyone know.

The dares kept getting worse, and by the end of the fourth round, almost everyone was mostly naked, and all the guys were in various states of arousal. They were also drunk off their asses.

Kagome was beet red the entire time, knowing what it was that kept poking her in the butt, and the claws that for some reason every time asked to stop, would resume their soft kneading function after a few minutes.

At this point, Kikyo stood up in just her bikini bottoms, and gathered the attention of everyone else. Looking into the eyes of everyone there, she smirked dangerously.

"I have an announcement to make." Giving both Rin and Kagome a look, Kikyo's smirk got slightly darker. Rin and Kagome both looked at each other in horror. This couldn't be good.

"We have a virgin problem! There are two of them here, and we need volunteers to solve this problem for them."

With panicked glances at the grinning females and smirking males, Rin and Kagome both bolted to the closest door, the bathroom.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Kagome yelled. She looked around, trying to find another exit, and she grabbed Rin, racing for the door on the opposite side.

"I think it best at this moment to split up and hide before any of them catch us." Kagome then looked at Rin. "Wait, didn't you want Shippo? Why not stay out there?"

Rin looked at her and giggled. "I will get Shippo tonight. I was just the distraction to get you in here."

Without Kagome knowing it, Rin had maneuvered her into a dark room. "Good luck, Kagome-chan!" With that, Rin quickly ran out and locked the door.

"Oh, damn," was Kagome's only reply as she felt the demonic energy at her back. Slowly turning, Kagome came face to chest with Sesshoumaru.

"Umm...hi."
