For generations in Japan, two families, the Taishos and the Higurashi, held a grudge toward each other for some unknown reasons. The tension was astonishingly great between them. Their actions spoke louder than their words. There's no doubt that no one can erase the feud flanked by if we don't have the real reason on how it all started.

For instance, people say that those two families were inseparable. They did everything together and then one day, they had an argument about an unknown subject that led them to the current grudge.

Kagome Higurashi was excited about leaving Los Angeles this morning. She was happy about seeing her parents in Tokyo again. Her beloved parents sent her to America to acquire a higher education. After 17 hours of uncomfortable sleep in the plane, she was able to see her family again. Her father Koshi Higurashi was a ruthless businessman. He was cold and distant. Even at home he would remain so. Her mother, Misato Higurashi, was a small beautiful woman who smiled quite a lot.

After greeting her, they went home so their daughter would rest a bit. On their way home, her father got a call from his company stating that there's an urgent matter that he needs to tend to right away. Changing their trajectory, they headed toward Global Inc.

Mr Higurashi quickly left the two women in the car and went inside to see what's going on.

``Kagome dear, I want to know everything that happened to you. `` Inquired her mother happily.

The two women were shooting the breeze until her mother's mood changed. Curious, her daughter looked at where her mother has been glaring and saw the most beautiful male alive. Well she only saw his back but was that a sight! He was elegantly tall 6`3 at least; wearing a black tux and had the most unusual hair ever, long silver hair that reached his butt. Turning his head slightly toward her direction, she was able to see his gorgeous eyes. Golden eyes. He smirked at her and walked away. ``Ouch was that a cold shoulder or what? `` She thought while smirking slightly Her mother noticed her checking him out and was up in the arms.

``That's Sesshomaru Taisho. Remember the Taishos honey? The owners of Youkai Inc. They're the most stuck-up obnoxious people ever. `` She reminded her.

That's when it clicked in her mind. Her family loathed the Taishos with a passion. But then again, who can possibly hate someone as fetching as him. Even though he was a Taisho, she couldn't hide the fact that she felt attracted to him.

Few months later, after dreaming about the handsome male for at least a dozens of time, Kagome met him coincidently at a reception she was invited to. They danced with each other for what seemed like forever till they had to say their goodbyes. Day after day, they started to fall hard in love with each other despite the fact that their families want to cut off the heads of each other. Nothing mattered to them. They were in their own small world. That is until the reporters saw them with each other.

Their families banned them from being together. Kagome was devastated; she couldn't live without her beloved Sesshomaru. Her father even threatened to send her back to America for her foolishness. For Sesshomaru it wasn't any better. His father vowed to disown him and let his idiotic younger brother take over Youkai Inc instead of himself.

``Let's run away Sesshomaru. We could get married and you could build your own empire in America. `` Said the desperate young woman.

``It would be wise beloved if you flee first. This Sesshomaru will take care of everything here and will join you shortly. `` He replied.

Two days later, Kagome took a flight to Florida but luck wasn't on her side that day. During the flight, the plane experienced a systematic problem and the plane crashed in the depth of the ocean.

Golden eyes widened at the news report in front of him. He quickly got inside of his car and dashed to see her family. Blinded by his thoughts, he didn't acknowledge a white truck heading fast toward him.

The only thing that flashed through his mind was ``Kagome``.
