Chapter 1: Kagome, Inutaisho, and Naraku / A Small Piece of Info

Kagome was the gothic freak of THS (Tokyo High School), while she also happened to be one of the most powerful people in the history of Japan thus far. She was guardian of the Shikon no Tama and the Jewel of Chaos. Kagome was a rarity among rarities, her father was a black inu youkai and her mother was half red inu and half blue inu youkai making her a black, red, and blue inu youkai and an only child. Not to mention some how she has miko powers that are the stronger then Midoriko's and other special abilities. Her long oynx tresses had red highlights and came down to her calves. Her cerulean colored eyes and soft pale skin made her and extremely beautiful girl though she cared not for her own looks. Her friends Sango and Shippou were gothic as well and just like her were considered the lowest of low on the social hierarchy at school, not that any of them cared. Climbing from Kagome's black Hummer H3 all eyes snapped to Kagome.

~Flashback~

"Kagome you have to kiss Shippou in front of Rin who has a serious crush on Shippou or wear an outfit I pick out from my sisters closet."

"Sango you've got to be kidding. Kikyo dresses like a whore. Besides I have no wish to hurt Rin's feelings since she has done nothing to me."

"Kikyo's closet it is."

~End Flashback~

So today Kagome was wearing fishnet panty hose with a pair of tight black booty shorts and a skin tight red shirt that said 'Look but don't touch'. Her black boots came all the way up to her knees and had a three inch heel. Sango had demanded that her hair be left down, but agreed to let her wear her usual make-up. Sango and Shippou would have fallen on their asses laughing if it wasn't for the fact that Kagome would definitely kick their asses if they did. Kagome ignore everyone and walked toward the school her eyes hard and holding a promise of pain to any who dared start with her today. Kagome went through her day with ease except for at the beginning of every class when she walked into the room all eyes would snap to her and all her teachers (she has all male teachers) would watch her ass as she walked. Finally, it was last period the class she had with her least favorite people, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha Taisho, Kagura Kaze, and Yura Yuriman. Walking to the back of the class she froze when she felt a hand on her ass. Kagome kept her power hidden from everyone so that they all thought she was a ningen, but now she let it loose. Turning around she saw that Inuyasha still had his hand on her ass.

"Remove your hand from my ass Inuyasha Taisho or have it purified from your body."

"You couldn't purify a roach on your best day."

Inuyasha pulled Kagome down into his lap and held her there. Kagome released her energy and let her anger come forth. Pulling herself from Inuyasha's lap she stood and turned to face him.

"YOU LITTLE EGOTISTICAL, SELF-CENTERED LITTLE PUPPY. YOU WILL NEVER AGAIN IN YOUR LIFE TOUCH ME OR SO KAMI HELP ME YOU'LL LOSE THE 'LITTLE' FRIEND IN YOUR PANTS THAT I'M SURE YOU WOULD LIKE TO KEEP EVEN THOUGH YOU PROBABLY HAVEN'T USED IT 'EVER'."

"WENCH IF YOU WANT TO BE INSULTING PEOPLE THEN TAKE YOU STUPID ASS TO THE BACK AND DON'T TALK TO ME."

Kagome charged her hand with her energy and slammed her fist into Inuyasha's face with sickening force. Sesshomaru, Yura, and Kagura just watched the entire thing, none of them moving to interfere. Yura ran to Inuyasha's side and looked at his face and turned to glare at Kagome who had walked to the back and was laughing her ass off. Sesshomaru watched the whole thing with amusement and interest in his eyes. Kagura just smirked and ran her fingers up and down Sesshomaru's arms. Both Kagura and Yura where on the cheerleading squad and Yura was the captain. Inuyasha got up off the floor and everyone saw that his nose was clearly broken. Kagome walked out of the classroom deciding that she didn't want to be in this class today. She walked down the hall to Sango, Shippou, and Kikyo's class and waked inside. Like all day all eyes were on her and she rolled her eyes.

"Sango, Shippou, and Kikyo if you want a ride home come on cause I'm leavin'."

Sango, Shippou, and Kikyo stood and ignored the teacher as they walked to the front of the room.

"You look good in my clothes Kagome."

Kagome ignored Kikyo and walked out the building at the same time her cell phone rang.

"Hello."

"Kagome, your needed."

"What this time, Keade."

"There's a rogue youkai in downtown Tokyo hunting and eating the residents around the park-"

"and you want me to bring you it's head right."

It was a statement not a question and Keade knew it, but replied anyway.

"Hai. You have three hours."

"More then enough time. See you in a half hour."

Closing her phone Kagome sighed and turning to the group.

"You want to go hunting with me?"

Three yeah's met her ears making her shake her head. Walking to her truck Kagome climbed behind the wheel and sped from the parking lot as soon as everyone was in. Hitting the gas she sped into downtown Tokyo and told Sango take the wheel. Her and Sango switched places as Kagome climbed from the window and jumped out the car. She had caught the scent of her prey and she wasn't about to lose it. A dangerous smile slipped onto her lips as she ran through the trees after her prey. Finding it crouched down and feeding on it's newest kill she jumped down and landed before it. She immoblizied it and slid her hand into it's chest and squeezed it's heart until it burst. Picking up the body she walked to her truck and threw the body in the back on the plastic sheet Shippou had spread out back there. Slipping behind the wheel Kagome drove toward the usual meeting place where the Taiyoukai of the lands and the Head Priestesses of the lands met with her so that she could deliver the bodies of the rogue youkai and evil miko's that she killed.

Turning into the parking lot behind the building she picked up the body out the back and walked into the building, Sango, Shippou, and Kikyo right behind her. She dropped the body in the middle of the floor and waited. A light turned on and Keade, Rika, and Kina walked up to the body. Followed by the lords of the lands, Inutaisho of the West, Lorban of the East, Fin of the North, and Heroku of the South. Kagome looked up and greeted each lord with a slight incline of the head. She raised a brow in curiosity when Inutaisho didn't step forward.

"Where is Inutaisho of the West?"

"My father is sick and dying so I am going to be taking his place as regent until he actually dies."

Sesshomaru stepped up into the light and Kagome growled low in her throat in distaste.

"Take me to him."

"You can do nothing for him not even Keade and the others can't help him."

"You can take me to him or I can just go to him and destroy what ever I wish to along the way. Now chose because I will not let your father die after all that he has done for me, even if it means my on life. Understand puppy."

Kagome snapped without even bothering to wait for him to reply she left with Sango and the others behind her. Dropping all of them off she went to Taisho Manor in search of Inutaisho. The gates to Taisho Manor opened for her and she drove up to the front door. Exiting her truck she walked into the house and followed little servent named Jakan to Inutaisho. Opening the door her nose was assaulted with the smell of poison, sickness, and death. Taking a seat on the bed next to him she brushed his bangs from his forehead and kissed it lightly. A single tear slipped from her eyes, though she hated to be seen as weak she knew he would not she her that way because he never did. Inutaisho was the reason she was alive today and though neither Sesshomaru or Inuyasha remember it she used to live with them a long time ago back in the time of the Warring States Era/ Feudal Era. Inutaisho was her second father or at least she thought of him as such.

"Why did you not tell me you were ill?"

"Because you would have worried yourself to death and because there is nothing that can change my condition."

"Why are you ill?"

"I was attacked by a strange youkai with a body made solely of poison. He injected so many different poisons into me I'm not quite sure which ones he used."

"I'll heal you Inutaisho even if it means my own life."

"No, Kagome I want you to live and to learn to feel again you bottle yourself away because of your past and as such have yet to live the present."

Kagome took in his words even though she was listening she would not let him deter her this time. Kagome broke every barrier within her mind holding back her power and took her now brightly glowing hands and placed them against his chest. She called forth her miko energy and sent wave after wave into his body holding back his youki with her own. His beast calmed after it realized the energy being used on them was healing energy and not purification energy. Kagome could feel her body weakening but she refused to stop and began pouring her every life essence into him. Then placing her lips on his she breathed deeply and took all the poison into her own body. Kagome's energy retreated almost immediately and she fell to the floor twitching slightly as her exhausted energies wrapped around her trying to purify the poisons within her body. Inutaisho was at her side in an instant and pulled her hair out of the way as she turned and threw up a bright glowing sickly green liquid, before sinking into unconscious to rest and restore her used energy.

Inutaisho picked her up a smile lighting his face as he picked up his cell phone and called Sesshomaru telling him to call everyone to order and tell them to be at the meeting hall in fifteen minutes. Hanging up his phone he dressed and walked downstairs to Kagome truck. Setting her in the passenger seat he drove to the meeting place, reaching the building he parked and carried Kagome inside where everyone sat waiting for him. They all were shocked to see him walking and everything as if nothing had ever been wrong. Kagome moaned something in her sleep and he laughed softly.

"I have called all of you here because I have been healed."

"How?"

"Kagome."

"Even Kagome doesn't have the power to do what you are claiming. True she is more powerful then any of us here but she isn't strong enough to do what was needed t save you."

"Then, how do you suggest I am here?"

Inutaisho sat down with Kagome in his lap. He drained a large quanity of his energy into her and watched as she yawned and opened her eyes. Looking around she was confused at first but then she looked at Inutaisho and smiled the brightest smile any of them had ever seen from her as she hugged him tightly.

"Your better thank kami. I was worried it wouldn't work."

"Yes, little one it worked, but how did you do it?"

"Easy I healed your body internally using my energy to neutralize the effects of the poison then I breathed the poison into my own body. My miko energy then purifies the majority of the poison and then I throw up what's let of it. It hurts like hell every time too."

They all just looked at her like she was stupid and she laughed before letting her mask fall into place. Inutaisho noticed her mask was back in place and looked at her sternly.

"Daughter, how many times have I told you to stop hiding behind that damn mask?"

"But, I-"

"Drop it now."

Kagome sighed and pouted childishly before dropping her mask. Then everyone turned to the left with baited breath. They could feel the evil on the other side of the wall. Kagome stood and broke through all her barriers and brought her miko energy to the front. They watched her mark the air and six little symbols appeared and each pulsed a different color, but the power rolling off of them was unmistakable. Kagome then positioned her arms and hands as if she was holding a bow and arrow and within her hands appeared just that and bow and arrow made of raw energy. Her very being pulsed with energy and power that none could deny.

"COME OUT I CAN ALREADY FEEL YOU."

"So you knew I was here then little miko?"

From the shadows stepped the cause of Kagome's every nightmare and heartache. The killer of her parents, Naraku. Kagome stiffed in fear and her power snapped back hiding within her body again even the symbols she had wrote faded back into her skin as she stepped back. Slipping Kagome hit the ground hard as she still scooted back as she tried desperately to get away.

"GET AWAY FROM ME. I SAW YOU DIE, YOU'RE NOT REAL. GET AWAY FROM ME."

Kagome had tears streaming from her eyes as if she had been crying for hours and the scent of her fear was so thick the other youkai in the room almost gagged on it. Inutaisho stepped forward; pulling Kagome to her feet he turned her to him and made her look him in the eyes. His voice was stern and yet soft and caring as he spoke.

"Kagome you must fight him none of us can beat him only you. Turn all your fear into something useful. Use it to avenge your family. Use it to bring your own mind peace."

"kukukukukukukukukuku... do you really think she'll beat me she can't even stand up and face me much less kill me."

Sesshomaru's eyes stayed locked on Kagome the entire time and he would admit to himself that she was powerful; he could feel the ground shake with the release of even that small fraction of her power. He knew what she had shown was not all her power because she was weakened from healing his father. But, he would protect her if only for the single reason that his father had claimed her as pack and as such she was family. Stepping toward her he turned her around forcefully and stared her dead in the eyes. Gold clashed with cerulean and with it came understanding. Kagome nodded mutely and took a deep breath as she closed her eyes and turned all her anger into power. She released her energy again and this time the ground under her feet collapsed and she stood in a crater as she pulled more and more power to the surface. She broke down barrier after barrier until the ground was quaking so hard everyone had fallen to their knees. Turning her eyes on Naraku she smirked and Naraku almost shit himself in fear.
