Something Interesting

Aiko: This is my first fanfic and it's gonna be interesting.

Kagome: I heard that I'm not Kikyo's reincarnation.

Aiko: -_-' You just had to say that didn't you?

Kagome: Oops.

Aiko: Anyways. This chapter is kind of short. That's only because it's just mainly a flashback. Well now, onto the story!

Kagome was sitting on hillside looking up at the night sky. Naraku had been defeated two weeks ago. The battle had lasted a long time, yet in the end, they had won. Kagome giggled as she remembered how Naraku was defeated.

***Flashback***

It was the final battle. Miroku and Sango were fighting the lesser demons. InuYasha was fighting Kagura. Aiko was fighting Kanna and also protecting everyone else. Kagome was shooting arrows at the odd demon that was headed towards her. Suddenly, Naraku shot some tentacles at her.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh," Kagome cried out as they hit her. It had been too sudden for anyone to help her.

"MOMMA!" Shippo, her adopted kit yelled out. Kagome was lying on the ground, not moving. He ran towards her. 'Momma! Please be all right,' Shippo thought. Once he got closer, he smelled two things. One was of death, and one was of rain, grass, and trees. Looking up, he saw Kikyo standing not to far away. Everyone else was also looking.

"Kikyo, you're alive," InuYasha said when he caught her scent. Sango suddenly was in tears, and Miroku was trying to comfort her. Everyone, including Naraku, was too lost in thought to notice that Aiko was saying something, and that Shippo's eyes were blood red. (AN: No. Aiko isn't making Shippo like he is right now. Aiko is doing a Soul Awakening Chant. I made it that Kagome has two souls. One was Kikyo's. Kagome got Kikyo's soul since the Shikon no Tama was in her body. The other one was of the person that she was supposed to be reincarnated into. But since the Shikon no Tama was in her body and that she also had Kikyo's soul, the original one was, well, dormant. Since Aiko is doing the Soul Awakening Chant, the first one will awaken. Now back to the story.) Everyone was startled then a scream was heard. The looked over at the place where Naraku once stood, only to see a huge portion of the Shikon no Tama, and a red eyed Shippo. Shippo suddenly ran towards Kikyo.

"Come any closer kit, and I will shoot," Kikyo had her bow and arrows out. Shippo stopped. He was thinking on what to do. One part of him, said kill her. And the other part said wait. Aiko's chanting stopped and Kagome's eyes opened. She sat up and looked around. Shippo's eyes were no longer blood red.

"MOMMA! You're alive!" Shippo yelled and jumped into her arms.

***End Flashback***

Kagome sighed. Since the Soul Awakening Chant had been done, and the Shikon no Tama was complete, she couldn't go back to her time. 'It's been a week since InuYasha went to tell my family that I couldn't go through the well. He might not be able come back,' Kagome thought.

"Momma! Help!" Shippo cried out as he ran towards her.

Kagome looked behind her and saw Shippo being chased by...

"BUYO?"
