Within the vast darkness of the night, voices were barely audible. A female's voice rang through the night as she screamed his release.

" Oh, Inuyahsa, I love you," Kikyou panted into his ear.

" I love you too, Kikyou," Inuyasha whispered into her ear as he licked the rim.

"Are you sure you don't love that reincarnation of mine?" Kikyou asked with an evil smirk formin on her ghostly white lips.

" Yes, I love you and only you, my Kikyou," Inuyasha replied as he went back to making love to her.

Little did he know that the "reincarnation" was watching from the bushes behind them. Kagome quickly got up and started to walk away from the horrid scene that played before her. Her vision blurred as tears sprang forth from her emotional brown eyes. Her raven-black tresses billowed behind her like a cape as she broke into a run. She ran and ran, until she could run no more. Kagome rested her back against a tree as she tried to catch her breath. Her sorrow wracked body sank to the ground as a new wave of tears spilled out of her eyes. 'How could he do this to me?' Kagome thought sadly to herslef,' I gave him my heart and he just tore it into pieces!' Kagome gave in to her sorrow and let out grief-filled sobs. She cried throughout the night, until she finally cried herslef to sleep.

~Morning~

Golden eyes surveyed the Western Lands as the dawn approached. The taiyoukai of the West leaned on his balcony window as he thought about his new problem. A certain raven-haired miko had been pervading his dreams lately, and he simply wanted to know why. All of his dreams had the same woman in it, smiling a bright smile. Though he would never admit it, she drew him to her like a fly to honey. His emotionless face served as the only calm part of him as a battle waged war inside his mind. From time to time, glimpses of emotions could be seen dancing in his eyes, but none every stayed too long. His eyes were pools of emotions,a s he argued with his inner self. 'Why does this Sesshoumasu dream of a miko?' Sesshoumaru pondered silently,' Why does she haunt me so?' *Why not go and see why?* came a voice inside the demon lord's head. 'Hmmm, true it would be easy, but does this Sesshoumaru stoop as low as to watch a pthetic human?' *She might give you answers, and we want those answers,* came the voice. 'Yes, this Sesshoumaru will see to it as to why the human miko pervades his dreams so,' and with a fluid turning motion, Lord Sesshoumaru of the West walked gracfully back into his chambers and got ready for a day's work ahead. The sun was rising.

Okay, sorry that the first chapter is soo short. ^.^' It's late, and my parents are yelling at me to got to sleep. I hope that my fanfic is at least decent, and I welcome any reviews. ^.^ I'll write a longer second chapter, so don't worry. ^.^ Please R&R!!!!!!!!!!
