Sango yelled to her friend behind the bushes.

Seven months had passed before Kagome came back from her time and who knew she could change so much in such a short time. Kagome replaced her pink and baby blue sweaters with black and purple trench coats. She replaced her normal brown shoes with combat boots. She was put into a public school so her school uniform went into a shoe box under the bed. She was no longer wore she spring colored clothing. She wore baggy black jeans and frilly dark skirts. She wore make up now which normally was only black eyeliner a colored eye shadow and a layer of foundation. She had developed more a womanly body shape and a more mature attitude though that seemed to fade once she got around Inuyasha. Her once bright eyes now held a deeper pain and her once tanned skin was now several shades lighter. She was into heavier music and the darker side of life though she loved it there.

Kagome buckled her belt and looked down at her bracelets covered wrist.

She sat down and hugged her knees closing her eyes remembering the night Inuyasha ripped her open.

It was around 5pm and the skies were growing dark from the on coming storm.

"Hey you guys! I'm going to go find Inuyasha alright!" Kagome had yelled to her friends before running off.

Kagome walked along the edge of the forest until she found a small trail leading into its depths.

I hope I remembered to put my dirty clothes in my bag...

Kagome walked along and smiled as she could now smell the scent of the rain soon to fall.

"Inuyasha! You promised! YOU PROMISED ME!"

Kagome heard Kikyou's voice saying and with that she stopped where she stood and looked to her left from behind a bush

and froze looking at the two in front of her.

Kikyou was adjusting her top and Inuyasha was running his nails thru his hair pulling out knots and leaves.

"I know... and I'll tell them soon, okay." Inuyasha

"Soon isn't good enough. I want her GONE. I want her DEAD. I want MY soul!" Kikyou yelled.

"YOU'LL HAVE IT ALL SOON ENOUGH!" Inuyasha barked and began walking away.

He stopped and looked forward at a crying Kagome who was shaking all over.

"How.. How..." Kagome stuttered.

"I'm sorry. Let me explai-"

"No... you can't. I understand. It's fine really it is." And with that Kagome took off running.

She ripped through Inuyahsa's forest as fast as her legs could carry her she was half blinded by tears and she tripped over a rotting log at the end of the trail out letting her self lay down and cry. As the tears fell from her eyes the storm broke lose the winds howled and the rain came down hard as if proving to Kagome it would give her vengeance.

"Kagome, what's wrong?" Miroku looked up from his scrolls.

"I've come to get my things... I am going home. I don't know when I'll be back... tell the others I'll miss them and tell Inuyasha...tell him... I don't care what you tell him."

Kagome grabbed her bag and headed for the well and with a flash of blue she was gone.

Kagome rose and began walking back to camp.

"Kagome... I've said I was sorry okay?! What more do you want? Can't we just be friends again?"

"I don't know. Let me rip your heart out and tear it up in front of you then ask if we can still be friends, first."

Kagome said not even looking to him.
