How could you?

Kirei: Hello! I'm Kirei. This is my second fanfiction here. I hope you like it.

Inuyasha: And why would they?

Kirei: Do you always have to be so mean?

Inuyasha: Yes.

Kirei: Kagome...help.

Kagome: Sit boy!

Inuyasha: ~hit ground very hard and starts cursing~

Kagome: How's that?

Kirei: Good. Thank you. I'm helpless until nightfall.

Sesshomaru: What happens at nightfall?

Kirei: I turn from pure human to pure demon.

Sesshomaru: What?

Kirei: Family curse. Long story. So can we just get on with my fanfiction of you and Kagome?

Inuyasha: ~Jumping up from ground~ HIM AND KAGOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell are you smoking!!!!

Kirei: Hey...It's a site dedicated to Sesshomaru-sama and Kagome. Apparently you tick off enough

people by hurting Kagome if this kind of site even exists. I just go with the flow. Besides if

it were my choice nobody would have Sesshomaru-sama but me.

Sesshomaru: You sound like a child.

Kirei: ~sighs~ I'm just a 15-year old girl who is very shy.

Sesshomaru: I see. Very well continue with the story and I don't expect you to stop until the

sun has set and I have personally seen your transformation.

Kirei: Uh. Okay, my lord.

Disclaimer: Here's the deal...I don't want Inuyasha so it's safe to say I don't own him...I just

want Sesshomaru, who I unfortunately don't own.

Chapter 1: How could you?

"Inuyasha, when the jewel is completed what will you do?" Kikyo asked.

"I'll join you in hell as I have promised," Inuyasha said holding Kikyo closer.

"What about my reincarnation?" Kikyo asked returning Inuyasha's hug.

"Kagome...she never meant anything. I knew she'd stay here because she loves me. Once the Jewel

is completed I will give it to you then we can go to hell together," Inuyasha whispered.

Kagome raced from the seine. 'How? How could you Inuyasha? I love you,' Kagome thought as she

ran. She didn't pay attention to where she was going. 'I don't care where I'm going. All I know

is I can never go back,' she thought. She finally collapsed by a large pond. She left all her

things back with Inuyasha in her haste to leave. Kagome stared at the water, completely unaware

of everything. She was merely an empty shell.

Sesshomaru, Rin, and Jaken were walking by in search of a place to camp for the night when

Sesshomaru caught her scent. 'Why is my brother's wench out here and without anyone else?'

he thought.

"Rin, Jaken, stay here," he said before walking towards Kagome.

Kagome just sat there staring at nothing. She couldn't cry, think, and it was becoming a little

harder to breath. 'Good. Let me die. I'll welcome it with open arms. I can't believe he would do

this to me. I sacrificed my own life to collect the shards for him because he always made me

feel guilty that I had broken the Jewel. And all along he was using me. I don't want to live,'

she thought.

Sesshomaru found her sitting there. She didn't seem to notice him or anything for that matter.

Sesshomaru walked up to her and waited. Still no reaction. He growled low and deep. Still she

didn't stir. 'What has happened to her for her to finally shut up?' Sesshomaru thought. He knelt

by her and took her arm roughly with his remaining hand.

"Wench! Speak! What has happened to you? Where is my pathetic half-brother?" Sesshomaru spat.

He pulled her arm towards him to startle her into looking at him but she didn't avert her eyes

from the nothingness she had been staring at for a while now. He growled and shook her violently.

"Woman! I demand you speak!" he yelled.

Kagome slowly looked up into Sesshomaru's eyes. He's thoughts froze slightly. 'What ever did

this to her had broken her spirit,' he thought as he gazed into her empty, emotionless eyes.

Sesshomaru stood, never releasing Kagome pulling her up with him. Sesshomaru dragged Kagome back

towards Rin and Jaken. 'Perhaps Rin can bring her back long enough to find out what happened. I

don't smell anything indicating a fight. She smells of sweat but that could've easily come from

her simply running. But I don't smell blood. I have to know what has become of my half-brother

and Tetsusaiga,' he thought.

Kagome was only vaguely aware of Sesshomaru. She knew someone was dragging her but she couldn't

find it within herself to look to see who it was. When she did look she didn't even register the

fact that Inuyasha's ice prince-I hate everyone but me-I'm going to kill you Inuyasha-I want my

father's sword-brother had her by the arm and looked slightly pissed with her.

Sesshomaru found Jaken glaring at a sleeping form. Sesshomaru strode into the clearing with

Kagome in a tow. Jaken squawked at Sesshomaru when he saw Kagome but Sesshomaru silenced him

quickly but kicking him to the nearest tree.

"I'm in no mood for your shrieking, Jaken," he said to the toad before turning to Rin, "Rin,

get up."

Rin slowly opened her eyes and sat up. She stretched and rubbed her eyes with her small hands.

"Yes, M'lord?" she asked.

Sesshomaru let Kagome drop to the ground next to Rin. Rin gazed at her wide-eyed.

"Rin, I wish for you to talk to this woman. I need information from her but she seems to be

lost. Perhaps you talking to her will bring her back," Sesshomaru said.

Rin nodded and brightened up seeing she could help her protector, "Hi! Rin's name is Rin."

Kagome didn't responded to Rin in anyway. Rin touched her on the shoulder.

"What's your name?" Rin asked.

Sesshomaru clearly saw that Rin wasn't doing any better than he himself had. He moved towards

Kagome.

"Rin, go back to sleep. She's to far gone," Sesshomaru said.

Rin moved towards Sesshomaru completely saddened. When Kagome saw her, her eyes briefly flashed

something.

"Kagome," she whispered.

Rin stopped and Sesshomaru looked over at Kagome. Rin ran over to Kagome.

"Hi! Kagome nee-san, why is Kagome nee-san so sad? Rin wants to help Kagome nee-san," Rin said.

Sesshomaru watched her closely. Kagome saw Rin's bright smile and she slimed herself. Not like

Rin's gap-tooth grin but a small, saddened smile.

"Nothing happened. Nothing you should worry about Rin-chan. Don't be sad over me," Kagome said.

'So,' Sesshomaru thought, 'She's moved by children. Must be the mother in her. Perhaps I can

gain my information by threatening that kistune pup that travels with her. He may not be here

but the woman knows full well I'd seek him out. I'll save that for later should Rin fail in

bringing her out.'

"But Kagome nee-san, Rin doesn't want Kagome nee-san to be sad. Please tell Rin," Rin said.

"Or if not my ward then me," Sesshomaru said.

Kagome looked over to Sesshomaru and he saw the emptiness again. 'Will she only responded to

children?' he thought. Rin grabbed Kagome's hand and dragged her over to some flowers.

"Here Kagome nee-san. Rin and Kagome nee-san can pick flowers and talk. Then maybe Kagome nee-san

will feel better," Rin said.

"That...would be nice, Rin-chan," Kagome said as she sat next to Rin.

Sesshomaru watched silently as Rin taught Kagome her tricks of flower picking. All the wreathes

she could make and halos. After about an hour Sesshomaru finally broke it up and sent Rin over

to Jaken to sleep. He turned back to Kagome to find the light in her eyes dieing again. He

grabbed her by the arm and jerked her up.

"You will not hide from, this, Sesshomaru, wench. You will tell me what I wish to know," he

whispered to her so Rin wouldn't see him hurting her and go into a panic.

Kagome managed to look at him, "Let me go."

"What?" Sesshomaru asked.

"Let me go...or kill me," Kagome said.

Sesshomaru breathed into her ear, "I know now you have a mother's heart, wench. You will answer

my questions or I will seek out your kit and kill him in the most painful of ways only to

revive him with my sword and do it again until I tire of him and feed him to my pets."

Kagome slapped Sesshomaru with her free hand before saying, "You never threaten Shippo! Do you

hear me? Never!"

Sesshomaru growled and threw her to the ground.

"Bitch!" he almost yelled.

He heard Rin stirring. He grabbed Kagome and left to find more private areas to torture her in

after telling Jaken to watch Rin on pain of death.

"Let me go!" Kagome yelled at Sesshomaru when they were far away from Rin.

Sesshomaru threw her to the ground again before kicking her towards the nearest tree.

"Bitch! You will tell me why you are out here alone, why your spirit is broken, and where my

half-brother and the Tetsusaiga are!"

"Inuyasha! You want to know where Inuyasha is? I'll tell you where he is! Searching for me so

he can use me to complete the Shikon no Tama! After that he's going to hell with his undead

bitch Kikyo! Sword and all because he'd never let you have it you fucking bastard! There are

you happy now!" Kagome screamed out while tears slide down her cheeks.

Sesshomaru pinned her against the tree he had kicked her into with his hand around her neck.

"You will respect, this, Sesshomaru, bitch!"

"Go screw yourself, Fluffy!"

Sesshomaru growled before pulling Kagome away from the tree only to slam her into it. She hit

it with such force she was knocked unconscious. Sesshomaru smelled her blood. He knelt down

with her and draped her over his knee. The back of her head was bleeding. 'I could probably use

her. She's right. If Inuyasha goes to hell he'll take Tetsusaiga just to spite me. If the whelp

does come looking for her he can get her back by trading Tetsusaiga or at the very least fight

me for it,' he thought before applying pressure to Kagome's head to stop the bleeding.

Sesshomaru took Kagome back to Rin and Jaken. He summoned Ah-Un and headed to his castle where

he had Kagome treated immediately. 'There'll be time to kill her after Tetsusaiga's in my

grasp,' Sesshomaru thought.

Kirei: Okay! Done first chapter!

Inuyasha: ~staring at Kirei intently~

Sesshomaru: ~doing the same~

Kirei: Did I...uh...miss something?

Kagome: The sun's setting. I guess they both want to see your transformation.

Kirei: ~looks out the window~ I was hoping to get away before that happened. Oh well.

The sunsets and everyone watches Kirei begin to glow. Wind swirls around her and smoke too. When

everything clears Kirei now has silver hair instead of blond, gold eyes instead of blue, one

light blue stripe on each cheek, two on each wrist, shoulder, upper arm, waist, upper thigh,

and ankle. In the middle of her chest is a silver, starburst, and she also has pointed ears,

claws, and fangs. (Her outfit BTW is a long black dress that fits snuggly to her curves. It has

a single slit in front of the right leg and no shoulders. It has sleeves that look like

Sesshomaru's sleeves, yes that long, and she has a single black cloth around her neck like a

choker necklace) (Kirei's hair ends at her waist and is wavy like Kagome's).

Inuyasha: ~sniffs~ ~gasps~

Sesshomaru: ~sniffs~ ~gasps~

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru: YOU'RE A DOG DEMON LIKE US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kirei: Is that bad?

Sesshomaru and Inuyasha start drooling.

Kagome: Shippo is there something we humans are missing?

Shippo: ~sniffs~ She smells like you and Sango at certain times of the month only much stronger.

Kirei: ~gasps~ ~counts days on fingers~ ~eyes widen~ Not this time of the month!

Kirei runs away from Sesshomaru. Kagome realized she was in 'heat' and sat Inuyasha multiple

times in effort to help save Kirei.
