He watched her dance. She was so beautiful tonight, more lovely than ever. She was very happy and smiling brightly.

I have never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight,

Never seen you shine so bright.

I have never seen so many men ask if you wanted to dance,

Looking for a little romance, given half the chance.

And I have never seen the dress you're wearing,

Or the highlights in you hair that catch your eyes,

I have been blind.

Many young men, falling for your charm, asked you for a dance, looking for more, but never getting anything but a smile. You were a married woman. Tonight I notice a glow to your skin, and your natural blue highlights for the first time. They match your beautiful sapphire blue eyes. My dear, you are amazing.
