A New School

~~~chapter one - a new school~~~

Kagome stared at the sidewalk as she walked to her new school. She tried to think positive thoughts about going to Shikon High but none went off in her mind. Her thoughts kept drifting back to the night before, when she found out she was going to this "all demon" school.

~flashback, the night before~

"Kagome, sweetie we need to talk to you!" Kagome had been studying for a really hard for this test that was tomorrow when she heard her mother yell up to her. "OK! I'm coming!" She yelled back as she sighed and closed her book. She went down stairs and saw her mother and grandpa sitting on the couch. "Well mom what is it?" Kagome asked them patiently. "Well dear, we know how much you love your school already... but we are going to send you to a different school." She waited to hear her daughters reaction.

"WHAT! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!" Kagome screamed. Then she got deadly silent and whispered in a too sweet to be taken seriously voice... "And just WHERE am I going now?" Her mother knew this was not going to be pretty as she looked at her daughters furious face. Her electric blue eyes sparkling dangerously. "Well honey, you will be going to Shikon High."

~end flashback~

Kagome knew why they were sending her to that school, but she would not give in to it! They wanted her to be more like them but ooooo just wait! She would survive in this school being a lowly miko! 'Yes I will' She thought while grinning from ear to ear.

Kagome, walking almost tripped on her book as it fell from her arms. She looked down and glared at it. 'Of all the days I am wearing a short skirt THIS is the one when I drop my book!' She thought angrily. Today she was dressed the way she wanted to... because this new school didn't have a uniform. Which she was very glad to hear. She dressed simply in a cargo black mini skirt and a white tube top that had a open long sleeved baby blue button up shirt on over it. Her hair was up in a ponytail and held up with one of those big clips things and had two strands hanging down along the side of her face. (a/n you know right?) She had barely used any make-up. She had been sure to make it look almost natural... she had used a little bit of black eye liner and some white eye shadow. Then she had just put on some of her "warm vanilla sugar" lip gloss on and she was ready to go. Don't forget her white flip flops.

Kagome checked to see that no one was around and carefully picked up her book. Just as she stood back up she was almost run over by a guy (actually a demon) riding on a skateboard. "HEY! Watch where your going!" She shouted angrily at him. All of a sudden he pulled to a stop and turned around looking at her and smirked evilly. She took this moment to look at him.

'He doesn't look like much'... 'who am I kidding he's hot!' her mind argued. He was dressed simply in some black baggy pants and a red t-shirt that showed off his muscles. He had long silver hair a little past his waist with two little white doggy ears on top of his head. She looked up into golden eyes. "HEY, wench what are you looking at?!" She was snapped out of her daze when he yelled at her and brought back to reality.

Instead of answering him she simply ignored him and pushed past. The next thing you know she felt sharp claws biting into her arm and she turned back to look into his angry face. Kagome glared. "Let go of me dog demon!" She yelled at him making his ears flatten against his head. "WENCH I ASKED YOU WHAT YOU WERE STARING AT!" he growled at her. Suddenly she had an idea. She smiled and turned around leaning against him as he stared at her in shock.

Kagome then smirked and kicked him right in the place where the sun don't shine. She stepped back as he fell over whimpering. She smiled and walked away rolling her eyes. 'for a demon he sure was pathetic' As she continued to walk away she heard him yell. "ILL GET YOU BACK FOR THAT!" And she rolled her eyes yet again and turned around smiling as she waved.

When she got to the school she went to the office and was greeted by an unfriendly vice principal named Onigumo. "What are you doing in this school human?" he asked bitterly. Then he sniffed the air and glared. "or should I say Miko?" She put a fake smile on and told him she was here to see the principal. "Oh really?" he smirked and called "NARAKU!"

A well dressed man with red eyes stepped out of one of the office doors. He glared angrily at Onigumo. "What is it!! I was very busy, we are getting a new student today and I am not prepared yet!" Then he seemed to notice Kagome. He smiled warmly (for a demon) and said "and here she is!" Onigumo looked at Naraku in shock. 'he knew about this?!' "Please come into my office Kagome" She smiled a real smile now and followed him.

"So Kagome... your grandfather sent me a letter explaining why you are going here instead of a regular miko school. This is surprising but we will do everything we can to make you comfortable enough to use your true form." 'I'll never use my true form and no one can make me!' she thought bitterly. He saw her frown and smiled again. "Kagome just out of curiosity what kind of d..." he never got to finish as just at that moment the inu demon from earlier came barging in the office.

Naraku glared at him. "What is it now Inuyasha?!" Inuyasha seemed oblivious to the fact that Kagome was there and sat down in a chair next to hers. "Naraku, WHY do I have 10 detentions!!!!... WHAT DID I DO?!" he asked or more like yelled. Naraku sighed and tapped one of his claws on the desk impatiently. "Inuyasha if I take 5 of them away will you do me a favor?" Inuyasha thought this over and glared. "depends on what it is" Naraku smirked knowing he had won. "Go get Sango for me and that's it" "Feh, why do you need Sango? What did she do now?" Naraku pointed at Kagome.

It was then Inuyasha decided to acknowledge her presence. "Oi!! What is that wench doing here?!" Naraku frowned. "She is here because this is her new school." "BUT SHES A FREAKIN MIKO!" "INUYASHA DO AS I SAY AND FETCH SANGO NOW!" Naraku roared. Inuyasha looked startled and ran to do as he was told.

Me: Ok people! that's all for now!

Inuyasha: What? that's it?

Me: yes for now

Inuyasha: but the story was just starting to get good

Me: uhh inuyasha that was the first chapter it isn't supposed to get that good yet

Kagome: *giggles in the backround*

Me: oh hey kagome come and get inu settled down!

Kagome: ok! *inuyasha looks at her fearfully*

Kagome: SIT BOY!

*CRASH*
