The stars sparkled in the night sky as a figure appeared on the highest tower a castle. The figure stood pound and tall in his white traditional white outfit. His silver hair flowed slightly in the night breeze as his golden eyes fell upon the full moon high in the sky.

This was the Inu Youkai Lord of the Western Lands, Sesshomaru. He was feared by all, even by his own brother. But there was one who showed him no fear. That very person plagued his every thought...

"My whole life I have been silent to the world, but now I can't breathe just thinking about you. Every time I close my eyes I can see your soft black hair, smooth tan skin and those sapphire eyes that show me no fear. When did this Sesshomaru become so attached to you."

For the first time in this lords life, he hung his head down in defeat.

"I'm weak, because of you."

A sigh passed his pale youkai lips, before he looked back up.

"What is this feeling? Is this love? For her, Kagome? We have been meeting for so long under a sky just like this. Could I love you? Yes, I do, but will you accept me? There is only one way to find out"

He slowly rose into the sky as his demon cloud formed under his feet as he did he came face to face with the white glow of the full moon. He then turned east, causing his silver hair and fluffy tail to flow in the night wind.

"No more hiding from you. I will do anything to be with you."

With determination the lord moved faster to the village by Inuyasha's Forest, hoping that she would be there.

In the village Kagome sat around a camp fire with her friends, Sango, the Youkai slayer, Miroku, the lecherous monk, Kilala, Sango's neko companion, and Shippo, her adoptive kit. Laughter filled the air as Sango once again hit Miroku over the head for caressing her butt. Tears formed in the young kit's eyes from laughing so hard as Miroku eyes swirled.

"WHEN WILL YOU LEARN YOU DAMN MONK," screamed Sango.

"I don't think he will ever learn, Sango," replied Kagome who sat across from Sango.

"Keep it down, would ya," Inuyasha yelled at the group from his sitting spot in his favorite tree.

"Sorry Inuyasha," Kagome replied.

"You better be wench"

"WENCH, WHO ARE YOU CALLING A WENCH?! SIT BOY," Kagome yelled before walking over to inu hanyou, turned human, who just met his best friend the ground once more, and continued to yell. "THE NAME IS KAGOME. KA-GO-ME!"

Kagome then turned and walked straight into Inuyasha's forest.

"Don't follow me," she yelled.

Kagome thought to herself "Oh why does he make me so mad? I'm not a wench! I have a name"

As she continued to walk she parted tree braches that got into her way and eventually came upon a field with white and pink flowers that seemed to glow in the moon light.

"Wow, beautiful," Kagome whispered before cloasing her eyes and taking in the sweet smell of the flowers. Suddenly she felt a powerful youkai aura, causing her to quickly open her eyes and to see that in the distance stood the youkai lord of the west.

"Sesshomaru?"

"Hello, Kagome."

Kagome thought to herself "He looks like a god. How can something so dangerous, be so beautiful at the same time. I feel like I can't move. He is looking at me with those heavenly gold eyes... Why is here?

At the same time Sesshomaru was thinking about Kagome " I've never seen anything so beautiful, especially those Sapphire eyes of hers. I could get lost in them. I wish I could see those eyes, that face, lose lips, that hair, and that body every day."

Finally Kagome spoke up to the stoic youkai lord.

"Why are you here?"

One of his silver eyebrows raised u before he said "You make it seem like we have never met like this before"

"Yes, but I have always wanted to know, why?"

"You."

"Me?"

"Yes, you are different form anyone I have ever met. You don't fear me and you are loyal to my baka brother even though he sleeps with that clay pot."

Kagome stiffened at the mention of the walking dead called Kikyo.

"So?"

Sesshomaru did the one thing he thought he never do. In a flash of white he had the miko in his arm and had his lips locked with hers. As first Kagome froze.

"He is kissing me, why? Could he feel for me like I have secretly felt form him?"

All thoughts stopped when Sesshomaru caressed her lips with his tongue asking silently if he could have entrance to her mouth. Without a second thought Kagome opened her mouth and Sesshomaru's tongue entered. Soon Kagome was kissing back the lord massaging her tounge against his as she wrapped her hands into the silk material of clothes.

"She is kissing back. Thank kami!"

Just as soon as the kiss started it ended, but kagome refused to let go of him know. She looked up and eyes of ocean blue met eyes of golden sun.

"Why?"

"I never realized it until now...I've waited all my life to cross this line, so I will not hide my feelings anymore...

I have fallen in love with a women that is a mere human, but who was born with a the fiery spirit of a youkai. But in the end she should have been born goddess, for I have never seen someone so beautiful as she. A goddess, that is who I know hold. I love you, Kagome, this is true."

Instantly tears filled in her blues eyes, as she searched his golden ones for lies. They showed none, but only worry and fear over the tears that were in hers.

"I love you too, but you are wrong. I'm not a goddess, but you are a definitely god."

He could not believe his ears. "What did you say?"

"Don't tell me the great youkai lord is going deaf? I said that I, Kagome, love you, Sesshomaru."

He crushed her to his body as tears fell from his eyes.

"I never thought that you would accept me," he replied.

When Kagome felt something cool on her neck she asked "Sesshomaru, are you crying?

"Yes, just a few tears."

Kagome pulled back, just enough to look as his face, to see two tears had fallen down his pale cheeks and over his magenta markings.

"Don't cry, just love me."

"I will, I will."

Suddenly a bright light engulfed them both, blinding them both. When the light died down Sesshomaru had both of his arms and Kagome had become an inu youkai. She still had her black hair, but she now had pale skin and a dark crescent moon adorned her forehead. Her once round human ears have become pointed and over her shoulder hung a fluffy tail, like Sesshomaru's but black in color, in addition her breasts grew one cup size bigger. Her eyes were now a light blue, and she wore a kimono that is completely light blue in color except for the gold sakura blossoms that adorned her right shoulder, on the hem of her left sleeve, and on the bottom on the kimono as well as on her light blue obi.

"Sesshomaru you have back both of your arms!"

"And you are a Inu Youkai!"

"I'm what?"

"A beautiful Inu youkai, whom I want to claim as my mate"

"I'm yours"

Sesshomaru pulled her newly transformed body into his arms and hugged his soon to be mate.

The inu couple kissed as a shimmering figure watched off in the distance.

"To think it only seems like yesterday that I, Midoriko, was helping her family though the well, after I put a concealing spell upon them. Good Luck child," Said a women that wore the traditional red and white miko garb. Midoriko slowly turned around and disappear back into the heaven where she would continue to watch the couple who kissed under the moon light sky.
