Chapter1: The Curse

Summary: Kagome's cursed by a blank a de blank demon. And has to go to the one thing that she hates.

Title: The Young Ones Life

POV: Kagome

No one knows what it's like not being able to talk to your loved ones about your problems. Or at least mine. Ya, I've tried but they all turned away. No one cared or if they did they didn't show it.

For I'm just a child. And who would believe a child. After all I'm only 16. Some may say I deserved it. Others may say I asked for it. But I say that it was a lack of protection. No matter what the reason why the point is that I had to turn to him.

The one person I despise. The one person I HATE. Oops did I say person?? Excuse me I meant thing. Well let me stop rambling and tell the tail. It all started one month ago... I was sitting in camp watching the flames of the fire dance up to light up the normally pitch-black surroundings, and waiting for Inuyasha to get back.

Mirkou was doing his mid-day mediation; Sango was grooming Keyrara, and Shippou was playing with my shirt and wondering what could Inuyasha could be hunting out loud.

"What do you think Inuyasha will bring back?"

Asked Shippou with thoughtfulness in his voice.

"I don't know but he better hurry up. I'm famished."

I replied getting up to put more wood in the fire.

"He might of came a cross a demon. He'll be back soon."

Commented Sango as I sat down next to her.

Keyrara jumped in my lap and started to purr.

"You could be correct Sango, but for him to be gone this long it would of have to come across a hell of powerful demon."

Added Mirkou peeking over at us.

Just then we herd a sneeze coming form some bushes. Sango jumped up flying bone ready, (Yuina: I know the word but don't know how to spell it.) Keyrara jumped up transformed, Mirkou took a fighting stance, ShippouSorry. Ran behind me, and I grabbed my bow and arrows.

Another violent sneeze was let louse before the culprit reviled its self.

"Oh... Its just Inuyasha"

Commented Sango sounding really disappointed.

It had been many days sense we had seen some action (Yuina: NOT like that perverts!!!) and, everyone was up tight but, for what ever reason Sango was the one who felt like that the most. I'm just guessing but I think it's because she is/was a demon slayer.

"Fea, what do you mean just Inuyasha?"

Snarled Inuyasha throwing a dead deer o9n to the ground with a loud thump.

"That's the LAST time that I do the hunting..."

Muttered Inuyasha, as he climbed up to the top of a tree.

"Wench, you and that demon slayer need to start cooking I'm starving."

Demanded lord Inuyasha.

`WENCH!!! I'll show him a wench.'

I thought.

"Inuyasha..."

"Fea..."

"SIT!"

Inuyasha fell from the top of the tree hitting about 20 or so weak branches before landing hard on a thick branch near the bottom and really hearting well.... you know. (Yuina: inside joke reviled!!!)

"Sit, sit, and sit."

All you could hear was Inuyasha screaming in pain. It went on lie this for a long time in till...

"Sit, sit, and sit "

"Aaaa..."

The tree branch couldn't take it any more and finally broke sending Inuyasha pluming to the cold hard Earth with a loud thump.

He let out a stream of curses from the bottom of the crater that his body created before getting up and climbing to the top of another tree.

"He sure dose have a colorful language. Normally he would just say kea or fea, but that must have really hurt him."

Said Shippou jumping on to my shoulder.

"He could never be a monk."

Replied Mirkou.

"Like you are one Mirkou?"

Questioned Sango throwing some meat on to the fire.

"You know I am."

He answered trying to sound hurt.

"Oh please if you're so riches then how come you grope every cute girl that comes your way?"

I muttered while turning the meat.

"You know that I need a child to kill Narakou if I fail."

He snapped in a matter of fact tone.

"What if you get a woman pregnant and we defeat Narakou before you get sucked up?"

Wondered Sango out loud while making the rice.

"Then that would just be a bonus."

He remarked with a letrus grin.

"I wouldn't want to bare his child. Would you Sango?"

I asked looking at Mirkou.

"Not really."

She replied.

Shippou, Sango, and I sighed, and then dished out the food. I'm not sure if Inuyasha was lessening or not because he would be down cussing out Mirkou for being a lecher, but he wasn't. He just leaped out of the tree, grabbed some food, and jumped back up the tree.

"What do you think his problem is?"

Asked Shippou taking a bite of meat.

"I think it's because Kagome sat him so many times. In my personal opinion it's a good thing."

Commented Sango feeding Keyrara.

"Inuyasha..."

I said.

"Hum..."

He whispered.

"I'm sorry."

I replied.

Inuyasha didn't say anything.

I sighed and grabbed my bag.

"Where are you going Kagome?"

Asked Shippou bouncing over to me.

"I'm going to go bathe. Do you want to come Shippou?"

I answered.

"Ya."

He replied walking to the hot springs with me.

"Sango, you coming?"

I asked.

"I'll be there in a bit."

She said looking over to Mirkou, who had a sweet but lutrus grin on his face.

It only took a few minutes to get top the hot springs.

"Wow it's so beautiful!!"

Yelled Shippou, taking off his close and jumping in to the water.

"Ya it is."

I replied joining him.

"I needed this."

I muttered dunking my head in to the warm water.

"Hay Kagome."

" Yes Shippou."

Shippou splashed some water in my face.

"I'm going to get you."

I barked playfully, then chasseing him.

Shippou ran off squealing and giggling. It went on like this for a while then...

"Kagome did you here that?"

Asked Shippou taking the playfulness out of his tone.

"Here what?"

I asked sounding confused.

The bushes moved and Sango walked over.

"Hi, guys. Sorry it took so long."

She said joining us.

"Hi Sango."

Giggled Shippou.

"What took you so long?"

I asked as she stepped in.

"I had to take care of some thing."

She said with an ever so slight smirk coming across her face.

I got what she meant and the thought of Mirkou hog-tied and gagged ran through my mind.

"What's so funny Kagome?"

Asked Shippou looking so sweet.

"Nothing Shippou."

I replied while trying to stop my uncontrollable giggles.

We bathed and talked about how we are going to kill Narakou.

"And then I'm going to..."

Said Sango slamming her fist in to her open palm.

I had to stop her. I felt like I was going to be sick. My stomach was churning and I felt like I was going to puke. If I ever needed to have something explained in detail

Sango would be the first person I'd ask.

"Sango, please stop. I can't take it anymore."

I begged as I felt my stomach rise.

"Oh... I'm sorry Kagome."

She replied humbly.

"Lets get back to camp. It's been over an hour."

Commented Shippou getting out and dressed.

"Ya, we need to get back. Inuyasha will lose his head."

Added Sango sighing, as she got dressed.

Reluctantly I got out and dressed. We silently walked back to camp not trying to disturb any sleeping demons. When we got back Inuyasha was a sleep in his tree Keyrara too. But Mirkou was wide-awake and still hog-tied and gagged under Inuyasha's tree. Sango let him go and they went to bed. (Yuina: NOT like that!!) I pulled out my sleeping bag, and just laid out gazing up at the stars.

` They are so beautiful. Oh look it's a full moon. Man, it's as if the kamis just took diamonds and threw them out in to the sky.' I thought to myself as I connected the stars to form a rabbit. `It's so peaceful out to night.'

I thought before...

"Inuyasha! A shard approaches!!"

I yelled waking everyone up.

Inuyasha quickly jumped out of his tree, Sango grabbed her boomerang, Keyrara transformed, Mirkou took a stance and I stood there in complete shock. I had never seen them get ready that quickly before.

"So you are the one I sensed."

Said a demon as he ran up.

"Who are you?"

Asked Inuyasha with testsiga ready.

"I'm Kei, the master of the wind."

He replied looking over us.

When I felt his cold icy dark blue eyes look over me I had chills down my spine.

"Quite a grope of humans you have collected. And yet one of them is not what they seem."

Kei replied looking over me again, and then I saw the gleam of a shard.

"Inuyasha the shard is in his right arm!"

I called.

"Good you can see the shard. Now you will see its true power."

Kei barked while running in for an attack.

Inuyasha dogged his attack just in time, and then turned around for a quick counter blow.

"Coming in!"

Yelled Sango throwing her boomerang bone. (Yuina: like I said before I don't know how to spell the name of her weapon.)

She hit his arm knocking off the shard.

"Wench! I'll kill you!!"

He barked charging at Sango.

Taking full advantage of his weakness and unleashed Testigas full power. Direct hit!!

"Aaaa..."

Kei screamed.

"Ya!! You got him!!"

Yelled Shippou coming out from behind me.

"I'm not done yet."

Mumbled Kei.

He started to chant some thing in a language that I couldn't under stand. All the while looking at me. Finley the chanting died down and Kei didn't move.

"Kagome are you ok?"

I heard Inuyasha ask.

"Um... Ya I'm fine."

I replied before I fainted.

All I can remember was hearing Shippou crying and my world spinning then just going black.

I woke up staring up at the roof of a hut.

"Ummm..."

I muttered trying to get up.

"Good morning Kagome."

Said Shippou happily.

"Hi Shippou, Where is every one?"

I asked standing up.

"They are outside. You really had us worried. So we brought you to Kyedee. She said that she couldn't find anything wrong with you. But she would keep searching for what ills you. Other than you were being sleepy. You should have seen the reaction Inuyasha had when Kyedee got on to Inuyasha for making you this sleepy."

Explained Shippou while jumping in to my arms.

I walked outside to find Mirkou, Sango and Keyrara waiting for me.

"Hi guys, what's up?"

I asked waving to everyone.

"Kagome??"

Asked Mirkou.

"Mirkou..."

I replied with a confused look.

"Kagome what did you do to your hair?"

Asked Sango looking up at me.

"What do you mean?"

I asked looking for a mirror.

" My...my hair!! Why is it purple with blue stripes?!!!"

I yelled.

"Not to mitchen its longer much longer!!"

commented Mirkou.

"What wrong chil..."

started Kyedee.

"Kyedee what's wrong with me?"

I pondered bowing as low as I could.

"Kagome is that you?"

"Yes Lady Kyedee. It's me."

"Kagome fallow me."

I got up and fallowed the old miko in to the hut.

"Kagome, child. It seems that you have been cursed. But not by any demon but by the master of the wind and all of the wind demons. This is not good not good at all."

Said Kyedee muttering the last part.

She grabbed a book and explained that I would have pains, and that was due to my body changing. Also that I would have ergs to run, and that was because my skin would feel on fire. And to keep away from male demon when I go in to heat.

" Yes, Lady Kyedee will I get taller and have more muscles?"

"You will get taller, but you will not have more muscles. They will just become more defined."

She replied giving me the book.

I bowed and walked in to town.

Half way in to town I ran in to Inuyasha. He seemed to be very happy and care free. In till he saw me.

"She tolled me everything that I could need to know."

I said.

"That's good."

"Something wrong?"

"Everything's ok."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Ok."

"Fea don't you think that I'd tell you if there was something wrong?"

"No! I have to pry everything out of you!!"

I yelled.

"Maybe that's because I want a private life!!"

"Oh I see."

"You see what?"

"Sit!!"

With that I stormed off with a hot head. I had no idea where I was going. I finally stopped on a tree branch.

`How am I going to get rid of this curse?`

I thought to my self.
