Hello, I'm Sarah, this is my first fanfic for A Single Spark, and I hope its you like it^-^ I don't own any of the InuYasha characters, but I do own this story. I know it because it came came out of my brain. (Unless my brain belongs to someone else@.@)

It happened. Rin had saw. Sesshoumaru, her trusted Sesshoumaru had slaughtered a human in front of Rins very eyes. She cried. She ran. She was gone.

"Rins...."Sesshoumaru whispered under his breath. "Jaken, we are off to find Rin, come" Sesshoumaru ordered, walking off in the direction Rin had gone. "Yes Lord Sesshoumaru!" Jaken yelled, waddling off after him.

"Hmm Hmm Hmm" Kagome hummed, looking for some medicinal herbs. InuYasha had just gotten in a big fight with Naraku, and the outcome wasn't very pretty. "Ah, here it is!" Kagome yelped happily, plucking the herb from the ground. "Now, just one more...." Kagome whispered to herself, scanning the area around her. Suddenly, she heard a small whimpering behind a nearby tree.

She immediately drew her bow and arrow, and got ready for anything. "Who's there?!" Kagome yelled. She heard the crying stop. Suddenly, a small child with a tear stained face moved from behind the tree. Kagome had immediately reconized the child as Rin, the follower of Sesshoumaru. "Rin?" Kagome said sweetly. Rin didn't say anything. "Rin are you okay, why aren't you with Sesshoumaru?" Kagome asked. "S-S-Sesshoumaru-S-Sama?" Rin studdered. "Rin never wants to see Sesshoumaru-Sama again!" she cried. "Oh Rin, why not?" Kagome asked, moving towards the child. "Sesshy-Sama killed a man, a human, Rinsaw, Rin ran, Rin need a hug" Rin said, hugging Kagome's legs. "It's okay , Rin, you can come with m-" Kagome started to say, but was cut off by a sharp voice. "No, Rin, you won't go to InuYasha, if this woman must come, she will come with us" Said Sesshoumaru, walking up.

Rin flinched and ran behind Kagomes legs. "She flinched.....she hates me" Sesshoumaru thought sadly, but his expression didn't change at all, still cold and heartless. "Sesshoumaru, how do you expect Rin to like you if you did that right in front of her?!" Kagome said, angrily. "This is none of your business" Sesshoumaru hissed back. "Rin wants to stay with Kagome!" Rin shouted.

"Sesshoumaru, how about if you give me 7 days, and I get Rin to like you again, you have to promise to stop fighting InuYasha" Kagome said, trying to reason. "Okay, but if you don't you have to *whisper whisper*" Sesshoumaru said, so Kagome couldn't hear. "Fine, whatever, come back in 7 days" Kagome replied, picking up Rin and walking away, plucking the remaining medicinal herb from the ground.

Okay, thats my chapter...is it long? I hope^-^Please review, flames are fine. I hope I didn't spell anything wrong, I'm a really good speller...^-^ Find out what Sesshoumaru whispered next time Chapter Two "Secrets and Fears" of Cherry Blossoms! I'll try to keep it as updates as possible.
