“Moom! I have to go now.”

“Allright dear. Did you remember to take everything with you?”

“Yes mom. Bye! “

“Bye sweetie! Oh, and remember at least once in three days.”

“Ok mom. Now I really have to go, so see you in a couple of weeks.”

“Come on wench. Why can’t you hurry up.”

“And why can’t you be civilized?”

“Hmph!”

“Whatever! Lets go”

‘Oh, I do hope she remembers to morph at least once every three days’ thought miss’s H as she watched her daughter head for the well and Sengoku Jidai.

IN SENGOKU JIDAI

“Kagome you’re back!” an excided kitsune screamed while hugging her waist.

“I missed you to Shippou.”

“Did you bring me anything?”

“Mhm. But first what do you say we head back to the village so that I can say hy to Sango and Miroku?”

“Ok!”

After she arrived at the village and saw her friends again the day just seemed to slip in to it’s usual routine. They all got ready for the following day when they were to star their shard hunt, but they also shared jokes and laughed and of course Miroku got beat to a pulp by Sango. All and all it was a nice day and Kagome thought how much she actually missed them whenever she returned home.

They all went to sleep early that night so that they could get a fresh start in the mourning. And how wise they had been to do just that for Inuyasha pushed them to their limits the next day, and the next and so on.

“Inuyasha we need to stop. We’re tired and we have to make camp.”

“Fine. Just sop complaining.”

“Finally! I’ll go get wood guys. Sango can you and Miroku set up camp?”

“Sure Kagome.”

“Thank’s.”

“Don’t go getting yourself lost wench!”

“Osuwari!” ‘ I guess it’s true what they say, you really can’t teach an old dog new tricks, especially if that dog is a certain foul mouthed hanyou. At least I get to be alone while I collect the wood, Inuyasha’s been such a slave driver that I hadn’t had time to morph and if I don’t do it by tonight I’m in big trouble. I’d better get a bit further from camp so that they won’t find out.’

Back at camp

“What is it Inuyasha?” Sango was curious as to why was the hanyou suddenly tense and why had he begun sniffing the air.

“Sesshomaru.”

And with that he left in the same direction that Kagome went earlier following his brother’s scent and hoping that Kagome wasn’t in danger.

“Kuso! I shouldn’t have let her alone, but she got me so mad. I know I was pushing them hard, but we’re at Sesshomaru’s border, and I didn’t want to put them in danger. Kagome … please be all right.’

After only a couple a minutes he spotted her near an old tree.

“Kagome! Where were you! I thought I told you to stay close wench. Let’s go.” And with that said he grabbed her arm and started dragging her towards the camp.

“Inuyasha! Stop. What’s gotten into you. I need to gather more wood.” ‘Oh no, why did he have to show up. How am I supposed to morph now?’

“Look! Sesshomaru’s nearby and the last thing I want is for him to try and use you to get MY sword.”

‘Dumb Jerk all he cares about is that stupid sword. That and Kikiou. And what am I suppose to do now. The sun has almost set and there is no way that I can morph in front of my friends. It’s not that I don’t trust them it’s just that I’m not sure that they would understand. Oh!! What am I going to do!!’

That night everyone fell fast asleep, even the hanyou. Everyone except Kagome that is. She was too scared about what was to happened to her for not morphing in time. But even she fell silently asleep letting the moon watch over her and her friends.
