I sat behind my drums, playing them skillfully. I flipped the drumsticks between fingers and began hitting the drums again, head bobbing along with the beat. My drum set was placed unusually up front in the middle. I had made a band. I was the drum player and the lead singer. Sunset Band. I felt tears prick my eyes. I had to leave Sesshomaru behind. Sango and Miroku came with me somehow and Shippo met up with me later. We all made a band. I decided to do a particular song that reminded me of my lost love.

I shoved my way into the club, trying to hear the next song. I pushed my way to the front. Kagome was playing drums up front. It was hell trying to get here. I had managed to track down Kagome and arrive for her next concert.

Memories when Sesshomaru had viciously fought Inuyasha leaked into my mind, as well as when I had seen him take care of Rin. No one could ever be as beautiful as Sesshomaru. Sango changed her octaves before switching back. Miroku and Shippo followed her lead. The sound of 80's music made me feel giddy. It was Sesshomaru's favorite type of music. The other set of drumsticks in my toes played against other drums by my feet. I almost gasped when I seen a familiar pair of golden eyes.

Sets the summer sun on fire"]

I felt Sesshomaru fit this song perfectly. I bopped my head to the beat. Fans were screaming and cheering their hearts out, wearing down their vocal cords. I remembered his golden eyes like the sun. A girlish giggle escaped my lips. It only made the song have more affect.

" Yeah!" Sango shouted into her microphone. Miroku closed his eyes in happiness. Shippo's instrument played in harmony with ours. Sesshomaru wrapping his arms around me...

I recognized the song instantly. I Want Candy, originally done by Bow Wow Wow in the 80's. My concealed youkino swished with the beat merrily. Sango was occansionally adding in little words, here and there.

" Really?" Miroku asked Kagome after she finished the chorus.

" Uh huh!" Sango began to bop her head as well. I nodded along, letting the music fill my ears. The harsh beating of the drums didn't even bother me. My demonic eyes were focused on Kagome, the lead singer and drummer. She was skillfully playing the drums with both her feet and hands.

I would meet Sesshomaru at night, and friendship grew to love, then we joined our groups together. Eventually, we defeated Naraku. No one could compare to Sesshomaru. Even I envied the taiyoukai sometimes. Maracas came from Shippo, and I realized he was playing his second instrument. Lights flashed all around us. Although no one knew, due to Shippo's fox fire, blue flames encircled the stages. Any demons out there would know instantly however.

So sweet you make my mouth water"]

" Hell yeah!" Sango called. I missed Sesshomaru's sweet kisses, his soft caresses. Silver hair swayed in the crowd, and excitement arose in me. 'He's here...Sesshomaru...' My obsidian hair swirled around me. Miroku and Sango stood, back to back, grinning like fools at the crowd. I remembered when Sesshomaru helped me heal my broken ankle. I was shocked by his gentleness, and realized there was a secret side he never showed anyone. 'Except me' I giggled again into the microphone.

" Alright!" Shippo grinned. Sesshomaru was a great hunk of eye candy alright, and he will be all mine. Just right after this concert.

I watched the group of old friends play the song easily with one another. It was clear they were messing around, yet being serious at the same time. A look of glee took on Kagome's face. Our eyes connected. Happiness flashed in them, as well as endless love.

But I like candy when it's wrapped in a sweater"]

I remembered when Sesshomaru warmed me up when I was cold. His youkino was softer than silk. I bet it still is. My hands were thrumming slightly. My ears felt like they were going to burst. I moved back and forth to the beat. I realized my song was coming to an end. I longed for the concert to end so I could be with my Sesshomaru.

["Some day soon I'll make you mine

Then I'll have candy all the time"]

" Oh yeah!!" Miroku and Shippo shouted together. Sango pranced over by me, dancing around me, while Miroku and Shippo were dancing together. I pounded on my drum set. The glitter in Sango's hair shone brightly, shimmering with ever movement. 'Just wait a little longer Sesshomaru...'

" CANDY!!" the three others shouted. I restarted ths chorus.

Right after I started, the others started, just one word behind. The Miroku and Shippo dropped out.

" Uh huh," Shippo bopped his head.

" Alright...candy..." Miroku strummed his guitar.

" Candy! Oh yeah!" Sango called out.

I finished the song, sweat dripping from my forehead. I looked deep into Sesshomaru's eyes and sent a silent message. 'I love you' I read the answer in his eyes. 'I love you too'

Okay, first of all, the song I used was not by Aaron Carter, but it was originally written by Bow Wow Wow in the 80's. How do I know? I was raised and born in the 80's. Yes, back when girls wore short dresses and elephant bells, which are HUGE bell bottoms. The song is referring to a girl wanting a guy. You would know this already if you read the lyrics, which Kagome is singing. Good night folks, and please R&R.
