My second digital art attempt. This time, it's Kagome in Victorian Era inspired wear. I'm not completely satisfied with it so I might come up with a second version. Kagome's dress has aspects of Sesshoumaru in it. The white Sakura flowers on red like his crest and the blue and yellow color like his obi. The sparkles is just to make it more femininely Kagome.
Any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. I need a lot of work on hair, hands, and shadows. Actually, I'm not too happy of how the profile of Kagome's face came out either.
I decided to forego a background in exchange for something nice and simple.

EDIT : //
After seeing some of the comments I got, I realized I wasn't specific enough about the "Victorian Era" portion of my description. To the two that commented regarding that, you are right. It is not Victorian Era wear. I referenced a Victorian Era court dress but in the mindset I was in at 3 a.m. forgot that while it was inspired by a Victorian dress, I took a different turn with the fabrics and lack of ribbons. Having not realized that until now when I'm actually fully awake, I apologize for the confusion and have adjusted my description to what I should have originally wrote. Thanks for bringing it to my attention or I may have never realized my error.

It is most likely an early Victorian Era gown. Something featured in a "Victorian Gowns Exhibit" looked very much like this, so boo to the nay-sayers. We can say that the glitter is lace and the edge flowers are embroidering. ^_~
I think you did a wonderful job on the drawing and choosing the colors. For the gold parts, a cool photoshop technique is to use the "screen" or maybe "color burn" blending option (two things I love very much~!). Love it!
The picture itself is beautiful and your talent is amazing. I love the embroidered blossoms on the bottom.
