Kagome bristled. "You don't have to rub it in, you know."

As they kept on walking, Kagome was startled when he suddenly turned around, grabbed her hands and held them in his own larger, warmer ones.
"Better?" he asked in that bored tone of his.
"Y-yes," she stammered, unable to stop the blush kreeping up her cheeks, "Thank you."
