She had no idea what she was supposed to do. She picked up a deep red blooming rose, softly brushing his god-like cheekbones, and traced the soft magenta stripes. No reaction.
Kagome mentally sighed. She was trying to wake up the taiyoukai, but she knew dogs had ... dangerous reactions. What if he tried to kill her or cut her with his claws? Youkai didn't like to wake up to strangers. She was hoping that the scent of a rose would help, but it failed. Jeez, he was a deep sleeper.
She didn’t like being in this situation, but she had been separated from InuYasha and the others. Sesshomaru had found her alone. And… well, she wanted to be with someone familiar, even if he was a cold-blooded killer.
Kagome decided to wait it out and save her skin. She shuffled through the items that billowed her backpack and pulled out a snack.
It was instantly snatched away by a pale, striped hand. "Miko, what do you call this brown... creation?"
"Wha! You're awake?"
"Is it meant for nourishment?" he asked, blatantly ignoring her.
"Yes, but-"
It was immediately devoured.
"-I don't think chocolate is healthy for dogs."
Too late.
