.... Setting changes....
".... speaking...."
'.... thinking....'
Note: I have revised this story, and have changed a couple of things; I will also be adding a couple of chapters that I did not decide to use the first time around. I have also changed a couple of things, such as outfits, heights, dialog, and attitudes. I have grown up a lot since I first published my work and reading it over made me realize that many things in the story needed to be revised. The story line has not changed, but a couple of things were pointed out to me a long time a go and only now, do I plan to actually change it. I hope the revisions do not anger my old fans, but I hope that they embrace it. If you have, any suggestions feel free to tell me, I am all ears!
Chapter 1: New School
A loud beeping noise that was coming from a small Hello KittyTM alarm clock could be heard through out the entire house. A young woman reached up and grabbed the clock to silence the infernal thing, unknowingly pulling it beside her. The young woman then screamed, realizing what time it was, she quickly jumped out of bed. "Oh my god! It's 7:30 I'm going to be so late for school!" She yelled as she rushed to get ready.
She ran to her bathroom to do her hair, brush her teeth, and put her make-up on. She had long dark brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, slim, curved, and was roughly 5'3. She lived with her younger brother Sota, her mom, and grandfather. Her father, unfortunately, died a couple weeks before her tenth birthday.
.... Down stairs....
The crashing noise made its way through the house and down to kitchen where her family was having breakfast. "Looks like Kagome's late," Sota paused, "again." He was twelve years old and starting his first day of junior high; he had short brown hair, brown eyes, and was about 5'6. He turned to his mom, "has she ever been on time in her life?"
"Yes, when she was little but after she turned seven it went all down hill from there," Kagome's mom said while shaking her head, "it was too quite anyways." She smiled softly at her son. After her husband's death Ms. Higurashi supported her family with very little help from her other family members, her children often referred to her as Supermom. She had short black curly hair, brown eyes, and was about 5'4 just like her son.
"Yes, well she doesn't have to make so much noise," Kagome's grandfather complained, "she's making enough noise to wake the dead!" Kagome's grandfather, the one who owned the shrine that they lived at, had gray hair, brown eyes, and was about 5'1.
"Kagome, hurry-up dear," Ms. Higurashi yelled up the stairs, "breakfast is getting cold and you still have to drive Sota to school." Turning around and setting Kagome's food on the table.
Just then, Kagome came running down the stairs, "Okay, I'm ready!" She was wearing a red spaghetti strap showing just a little cleavage, dark blue jeans, a white blazer, white wedges, and a classic Burberry of London bag. Her hair was pulled up in a high ponytail, with the ends slightly curled, and her bangs fell freely to the right side of her face. She wore black eyeliner, light pink lip-gloss, cooper eye shadow, and dark silver eye shadow on far corners of her eyes, complementing her blue eyes.
After she and her brother finished their breakfast, they got into Kagome's silver Honda Civic '07, with its chrome wheels, tinted winds, full body kit, and a rear spoiler. Kagome started the car and turned her cell phone on. When she finished dropping off her brother, she started for Shikon University. Before arriving, Kagome's cell phone went off, "moshi moshi?"
"Hey, Kags, you ready for university?" Kagome could hear the excitement from the other woman's voice though the phone.
"Hey Sango, yeah I guess, have you heard from Ayame and Kikyo over the summer?" Kagome asked curiously.
"Yeah, they said that they would tell us all about it at school." Sango paused, "where are you anyways?" She asked.
Kagome could almost see Sango pouting; she smiled and replied, "I'm just turning into the parking lot." Kagome ended the call, parked her car and turned it off. Stepping out of her car, Kagome could feel most the men undress her with their eyes. Rolling her eyes, Kagome shut the door and looked around for her friend.
"Kagome!" a female voice called to her. Turning around Kagome saw a female, roughly 5'6, running to wards her wearing tight jeans, a black and silver Baby Phat shirt, and black and white high top Nikes. Her hair was chocolate brown, razor straight, in a high ponytail, her bangs were straight cut, and she let two pieces of hair frame her face. She wore brown eyeliner, dark pink lip-gloss, and dark pink eye shadow to complement her chocolate colored eyes.
"Hey Sango," Kagome hugged her long time friend for a few seconds, "how was your summer?"
"It was okay I suppose," Sango then started to pout; "I really wish you could have gone to America with me."
Kagome laughed at her friend, "come on, Kikyo told me last night that she and Ayame would be waiting for us by the doors." Kagome said cheerfully, dragging her friend behind her.
Before they got to the door, two other girls met up with them. One as about 5'7 had long dark brown hair that hung to the end of back, dark brown eyes, and pale skin. Looking almost identical to Kagome, she wore dark straight-legged jeans, a white shit with red writing saying Versace, and black 4" platform shoes. She had only clear lip-gloss, and red eye shadow. The other girl was roughly 5'5 with fiery red hair, which were in two pigtails, her bangs falling freely, and beautiful emerald colored eyes. The girl wore boot-cut jeans, a dark purple t-shit saying Armani in silver writing, and black boots. She wore light red lip-gloss, and lavender eye shadow.
Laughing and giggling the four friends made their way through the front doors. Unnoticed by them, four pair of eyes watched them curiously. One was piercing gold, the other with warm amber, then a striking lighting blue, and the last with deep purple. The four figures jumped down from the tree and let down their concealment charm.
"So gentlemen what do think of the new freshmen?" asked the one with gold eyes.
"Interesting there seems to be two mikos in the group." The one with deep purple stated with a smirk.
"A wolf too, how interesting." The one blue-eyed one pointed out.
"Why are we after these four again?" The amber eyed finally spoke.
The golden-eyed one smirked, "you shall see."
.... With Kagome and friends....
"So Kagome, how's mom doing?" The tallest girl asked. Even though the girl and Kagome looked so much a like, they were not at all related. Most people would even mistake them for twin or at least blood relatives, but alas, they were just best friends.
"She's good but I think she's having a hard time letting me go to university." Kagome replied with a smile towards the girl, "how's dad taking you leaving Kikyo?" Kikyo shrugged her shoulders in indifference, but Kagome knew better, the two were close so it was probably hard for both of them. "How was your summer Ayame?" She then turned to the red headed one, "you were at dad's, friend's place right?"
Ayame nodded confirming Kagome's question and then heaved a heavy sigh. "It was okay I guess but apparently they had a son and he had a partied all night, the night before I left, so I got no sleep." she replied irritated. "What's worse is that I didn't even see the guy and we had to share the guest house together for some unknown reason!" Ayame folded her arms in anger. Both Kikyo and Kagome looked at their friend with sympathy.
Sango on the other hand smirked at her friend, "sounds like you had a wander full time there." She commented with her words dripping of sarcasm as she wrapped one arm around Ayame's shoulder.
Ayame jokingly glared at her friend, "loads, it was a blast not having enough sleep!" Ayame replied with the same amount of sarcasm.
Kikyo and Kagome looked at each other and giggled at their best friends, they had always been like this since they first met. All the too did was argue but was there for each other if need, that's why they loved them.
Kikyo then turned to Kagome, "where are we supposed to go anyways?" All eyes turned to Kagome.
Kagome smiled, "where would you guys be without me?" She went in her bag, grabbed her day planner and opened it up. "We're supposed to go to the main office so they can give us everything we need and our dorm keys." Kagome, then pulled out a map for the school, unfolded the map, and pointed in the direction they were supposed to go in.
Sango then turned to her friend with a big smile, "we would be completely lost without you, literally." All the girls laughed and headed in the direction Kagome pointed out earlier.

So, as you guys can tell I did a lot of editing work and dialog changes. There will be more in later chapters but as I said earlier, the storyline is still the same. Also, I know that I'm such a brand whore, hahaha, but I can't help it I'm Asian! I would also like to thank Emily for finding my story, because my stupid ass could not locate it...I know... I fail at life. See you guys next time; don't forget to review as well!
